Caballo Regalado is a Christmas gift to the Carousel. The Greenwells had a long history of ranching in the Ogden, Utah area. Dian’s great grandfather, both of her grandfathers, and her father were well known for their horsemanship. Dian and her daughter, Nicole Thompson, continued the tradition as well-known and successful equestrians in the Dressage Society of Oregon. This beautiful Christmas Clydesdale is an outside row stander and will make an appearance on the carousel during the Christmas and winter seasons. There will be no mistaking this gentle giant with his black mane, flowing tail, and white socks and feathers. He wears a black and brass harness with a small green pad as if he is ready to pull a Christmas Sleigh. For the holiday season, he sports a large red and gold bow on his tail and small sprigs of holly on his harness and bridle. Brass bells are attached to his collar and the Greenwell logo (a wishing well) is on the medallion on his chest. Caballo Regalado represents warm memories and the spirit of Christmas. He is a special gift to all his riders during the holiday season.
