Please also note that adults and youth 14+ can sign up to volunteer at the carousel, and this includes carving. It is not the same as a class, however our master carver can walk you through the process after you’ve completed your application with our Volunteer Coordinator.

WORKSHOP APPLICATIONS
HIGH SCHOOLERS- Want to learn the art of woodcarving from a master artisan?
Make woodchips fly and watch carousel animals come to life beneath your hands?
You will have the opportunity to work directly with a master volunteer artisan at the carousel AND will be loaned a set of carving tools to start learning the art of woodcarving.
(PLUS- if you complete all 6 sessions satisfactorily, the carving tools are yours to keep! Over a $100 value!)
