Sally, a Brown Swiss Cow, is “udderly amazing”! The design for Sally was first drawn by granddaughter, Annie Bunch, who was 11 years old at the time. The Gisler family was originally from Switzerland and raised Brown Swiss cattle. Gerry was raised on a Washington State dairy farm where the Brown Swiss tradition was continued. Upon his parents retiring from active farming they kept a single cow, a Brown Swiss named Sally. Growing up, the Gisler children often visited the farm and were particularly fond of this gentle animal. Can you hear the sound of Sally’s bell as she waits to transport you to the Swiss countryside? She is an inside-row jumper on the carousel.
