DESCRIPTION:Dress in your best garb and join us for a family friendly spooky night of fun!\n\nWe will have our candy handout (while supplies last) and some spooktacular costume contests!\n \n\nHalloween Costume Contest Rules\n\nGuidelines for a Fair and Fun Competition\n\n\n\nTo ensure a fun and safe environment for all participants\, please review and follow the\nrules outlined below for our Halloween Costume Contest.\n\nEligibility\n* All ages are welcome to participate.\n* Individual and group entries are permitted. Groups must register together.\n* Employees or judges are not eligible to compete.\n\nCostume Guidelines\n* Costumes must be family-friendly and appropriate for all ages. No excessive\ngore\, nudity\, or offensive content is allowed.\n* Homemade and store-bought costumes are both accepted. Creativity is strongly\nencouraged.\n* Costumes must not include real weapons or dangerous props. All props must be\nsafe and non-functional.\n* Culturally sensitive and respectful costumes are required. Avoid costumes that\ncould be considered inappropriate\, offensive\, or discriminatory.\nRegistration and Participation\n* Contestants must register at the registration table between 4- 5pm on\n10/31/2025.\n* Each participant or group will be assigned a number for judging purposes.\n\nContest Categories\n* Best Overall Costume\n* Funniest Costume\n* Favorite DYI Costume (must be 80% or more homemade)\n* Best Group Costume (2 or more entered together)\n\nJudging Criteria\n* Creativity and Originality\n* Quality and Effort\n\n\n* Relevance to Category\n\nJudges’ decisions are final and binding.\n\nPrizes\n* Winners will be announced at 6:30pm\n* Prizes will be awarded for each category. Prizes are non-transferable and cannot\nbe exchanged for cash.\n\nPrizes for Best Overall\, Funniest\, Favorite DYI:\n   1 st Place 1yr membership\n   2nd Place 6-month membership\n   3 rd Place 3-month membership\n\nPrizes for Best Group Costume:\n$20 Carousel Gift Cards (up to 5 participants\, 1 each)\n\n\n\nGeneral Conduct\n* Be respectful to all participants\, judges\, and event staff.\n* No disruptive behavior or unsportsmanlike conduct will be tolerated.\n* Failure to follow the rules may result in disqualification.\n\nSafety\n* All costumes and props must allow for safe movement and visibility.\n* Please avoid costumes or props that could pose a tripping hazard or obstruct\nemergency exits.\n\nPhoto and Video Release\nBy participating\, contestants grant permission for photographs or video footage to be\ntaken and used for promotional or future contest purposes.
