Lightning will be the lead horse on the Carousel, a fitting role for this most patriotic of horses. Adopted by Duffy and Russ Tripp, eight small medallions on his harness showcase the favorite activities of the Tripp’s children and grandchildren. Lightning’s patriotic decorations also include a 13-star flag and a bust of George Washington on his saddle.
